A Very Nice Ultrasound

Yesterday Josh and I had another ultrasound appointment. At our last doctors visit the sonogram tech saw 5 cysts on our little mans brain. We were instructed to make an appointment for a 3D ultrasound with a doctor specializing in mental handicaps in unborn children. We were told that Jonesy could have down syndrome, autism or trisomy 18. We hadn't opted to do any of the genetic testing in the first trimester because we are just so happy to be getting this little guy, that it doesn't matter how he comes. We were not a bit nervous before our appointment, we already knew that no matter what the doctor found, THIS LITTLE MAN IS OURS AND HE IS PERFECT!
We know that this child is supposed to be ours and that he is going to be such an incredible blessing to our family. At the appointment yesterday the doctor checked his hands for clubbing and his feet for rounded bottoms. He also measured his head and neck. Everything looks great! When we went in for a look at his brain and the cysts, THEY WERE ALL GONE, except one which had already gone down from 4 cm in size, to just 2 cm. (the doctor said that this cyst would also disappear and if we hadn't had the first ultrasound we would have never known that the cysts ever existed)
We are so happy Jonesy is healthy and growing strong! We can't wait to meet him! It doesn't matter if he hates sports or loves them. If he wants to act or do karate. If he likes purple more than blue and green.
He is our son and we love him!

Here is the newest pic we have of him! He weighs 1 pound 2 ounces and is about 10.8 inches long!
