Kallie came to Texas.

Kallie came to Texas for a few days. It was great to be able to spend some time together. We always really enjoy the time we get to spend with one another and this trip was no exception. Alot of the trip was spend driving out to our house and witnessing the progress on that. We are so excited for our future, it is going to be quite a change for the both of us but we are ready for it. We went down to Mockingbird station, went to the Nasher Museum, spent time with the family and just enjoyed one another.

Update on the house

In the span of 5 days they finished preparations on the foundation, poured the foundation, and are almost completely done framing our house. Needless to say Kallie and I are very excited. The weather has been amazing the past week which means so far it has been smooth sailing. We are so excited.

Just before they poured the foundation...

She was a little excited....

Our New House

They have started the building process on our house. We have been waiting for this for what seems a life time. Kallie and I are very excited about the opportunity we have to buy a house. They should start working on the foundation in the near future.

To say the least we are very excited and can't wait to get married and start our life in our cute little house. We have been very blessed.

Just a Few More Engagement Pictures...

Our First Blog

Josh and I met while we were going to school at BYU-Idaho. Josh was a senior studying psychology and business. I was in my second semester at college, just trying to figure what to be when I grew up. We met and instantly became friends. I remember being very comfortable with Josh, I think he would say the same...
We began dating almost the minute we met. And only a hot second after that we became engaged. We are getting married January 9, 2010. Josh graduated in July 2009. He is now working at Sunburst Shutters, in Dallas Texas. I am still in Idaho just working and getting ready for our big day. When we get married we are going to live in Texas, just outside of Dallas in this cute little po-dunk town called Fate. We are very excited to start our lives together. Josh is my best friend and I can hardly remember a time when he was not in my life. I feel like I have known him forever. I miss him very much when we are apart, but I know that ultimately the distance is bringing us closer together. It also helps us to truly cherish the times we get to spend visiting each other.
Josh was just up to see me for the weekend and we had a lot of fun together. We took our engagement pictures and made a few plans for our wedding. Josh was also able to spend a little bit of time getting to know my family better. They love him almost as much as I do. And I know they can't wait to have him as part of the family.
