Lexington is just a hop, skip and a jump away from EKU... it is also the home of the University of Kentucky and boy do they let ya know it! Blue, wildcats, banners and t-shirts everywhere you look. Lexington is also home of the Kentucky horse park. So we spent one of our extra afternoons walking around and meeting all the beautiful champion horses who have retired there.

Cigar is the wealthiest race horse winning $9,999,815 in his racing years!
After the Horse park we went to Cracker Barrel for some yummy breakfast-for-dinner and then relaxed outside the store on the rocking chairs.
