On the 28th we woke with half a day to kill before it was time to return the rental car and catch our plane. We googled fun things to see and do near the airport and found there was lots!
We saw the stadium where the University of Kentucky plays basket ball.
We went to the Kentucky State Arboretum.
They had lots of contemporary/ recycled art on display while we were there.
Then we saw the JIF factory.
And just to round our "Seeing random universities just for the fun of it" list off to SEVEN we saw Transylvania University which is the 16 oldest university in the nation and the oldest university in Kentucky.
We could not keep Maverik's nose off the window. He was so fascinated with looking out side as we prepared for take off.
But as soon as we were in the air both of my boys were a'snoozin!

What an adventure! Loved the pictures, commentary, and fun times...any one of them will be great for us to visit and to enjoy. Mavs is a sweetheart!!!! And so are you and Josher.
