When most of the world turns 21 they spend the night out "bar hopping," so for my 21st Birthday I asked Josh to take me "restaurant hopping." My birthday was on a Wednesday this year, so he took me out the Saturday before.
We started the night off with drinks from Applebees. Mine was a really yummy mango smoothie. It was superb!
Next we went to Snuffer's for appetizers. Josh had heard from a co-worker that they had fried mushrooms that are to die for. After trying them, we decided they were pretty good but not quite "to die for" quality.

Our third stop was Olive Garden. We shared bread sticks, a salad and steak fettucini.
About half way through our main course we realized that our eyes were much much bigger than our stomaches. We ended up taking home half of the salad and fettucini, along with 6 fresh bread sticks because our waiter found out how much i LOVE them!
We couldn't end the night without dessert even though we were completely stuffed to the brim. So we stopped by Cheesecake Factory and got two slices to go. Carrot cake cheesecake for Josh and lemon raspberry cheesecake for me.

We ate our leftovers and our tasty cheesecake after church on Sunday. It was glorious not to have to think of something for Sunday dinner.
Josh not only gave me food for my birthday(though it is my favorite thing), he also gave me Sarah Palin's new book "America by Heart," my own copy of my favorite movie "Fried Green Tomatoes" and a hanging jewelry organizer. Thank you Josh for such a fun birthday celebration!
Bruce and Jerri also treated us to dinner at Cracker Barrel (my favorite restaurant). It was nice to have some one on one (two on two) time with them before they leave for their mission.
This last weekend we also had a January birthday celebration with all of the Joneses. Happy birthday Sydney, Easton, Karim and Dane. I am so proud to share such a wonderful birth month with you. I received many sweet and thoughtful gifts from my family members that day including: a baby sign language kit, The World Wide Ward Cookbook and a Photo Book Maker, Mark Mabry's Pictures of Christ book and a necklace. Thank you Joneses, Hatches and Joneses!
Also, thank you every one for your sweet birthday calls, texts and facebook comments.

Sounds like you had a great birthday!
