The last three days were much more relaxed than the rest of the visit, but we still had a lot of fun. Josh had Monday off and the four of us went to the Six Floor Museum. It is a museum in the book distribution building that Lee Harvey Oswald shot JFK from. The museum was fascinating. After the museum we went to the Galleria mall in Dallas. My mom and Gramie Del were amazed at its size. The mall has a normal food court but also several large restaurants(we had Corner Bakery), a skating rink and of course every store you could ever think of!
Tuesday, we relaxed most of the day and had lunch at La Madeleine. My mom and Gramie Del loved the food. We had croissants, crepes, bread, and quiche. The restaurant is so charming, I love the atmosphere. Here are some pictures:
Wednesday we got everyones things packed, ate lunch and went to the airport :(
It was wonderful having some of my family in town. I loved showing them our home and all of the things there are to see and do in Dallas. Josh and I are so lucky to have such a wonderful life. We have the best family here in Texas and also in Idaho, Virginia, Utah and Nebraska. We cherish every minute we get to spend with them.
