For our weekly girls day yesterday Jerri, Ashley, ColCol, Sydney, Linds, Eme, Easton and I went to the Dallas Zoo. It was a lot of fun. The kids were not sure how they felt about the zoo before, but I think after a little while they realized just how awesome the zoo really is! We saw the penguins (Syd seemed particularly interested in them), lions, giraffes, zebras and pink flamingos. We even went on a tram ride around the zoo where we learned about habitats and the cycle of life ( I thought this was the most interesting part of the zoo, I love learning new interesting facts).
